Durham dribble hands off to Lander on the right wing with 16 seconds left on the shot clock:
From there, Geronimo comes up to set a ball screen for Lander. Luka Garza hedges:
With Jordan Bohannon back out to Lander, Garza not recovered back to Geronimo and Wieskamp not aggressive enough in warding off the pass to Geronimo on the help, there’s an opportunity for a pass:
Lander threads it through. Wieskamp is still behind Geronimo at this point and there’s maybe even an opportunity to hit Durham for a 3-point attempt:
But with the Iowa defense failing to get in front of Geronimo he simply keeps it going to the rim and jams it home:
Simple pick-and-roll action on this one, but it’s aided along by Lander’s passing and floor vision strengths.
