Phinisee passes to Hunter on the left wing:
Walker comes out hard and tight on Hunter, so Hunter decides to go by him left:
Gray meets him near the left low block on the help defense:
Hunter tries passing across the court to Galloway, but Koprivica deflects the ball:
Hunter recovers it:
And this time, with the defense collapsed, zips the pass to Durham in the right corner:
Durham rotates to Galloway:
Galloway drives left on RayQuan Evans after a closeout:
As Galloway gets into the lane, Hunter is ready to rise and fire at the top of the key. Phinisee moves out to the left wing, as Walker has to contend with them both:
Galloway finds Phinisee as Walker sticks to Hunter:
It’s a good look in rhythm for Phinisee, but it doesn’t drop:
Indiana’s advantage on this play began thanks to Hunter putting the ball on the deck and making things happen. With defenders knowing he’s a large threat to shoot, a good counter for Hunter is to opt for the drive on a high and tight closeout if it’s there for him.
