Film Session: Florida State
Galloway goes right as Thompson has his body on Scottie Barnes. Hunter is in the left corner:
Thompson gets away with a push on Barnes and it helps Galloway have more room to drive:
He gets into the middle of the paint and attracts four of the five FSU defenders. Lander is in the left corner. Franklin is in the right corner. Galloway opts to turn around and hit Hunter on the left wing:
Hunter has a lot of room to rise and fire, but opts for the extra pass to Lander as Anthony Polite comes on the closeout and RaiQuan Gray has his back to Lander:
As Gray moves out to Lander, he’s got room and time to shoot as well as go baseline:
But Lander hesitates a bit and then jab steps left as Gray keeps moving towards him. Lander gets called for a travel:
This is probably the right pass from Hunter to hit the more open teammate. But Lander has had shooting and decision-making issues so far in his young career. And it cost Indiana yet another opportunity with this turnover.
