Silver Creek four-star forward Trey Kaufman to announce decision on October 30

Class of 2021 Silver Creek forward Trey Kaufman will announce his college decision on October 30, he announced today via Instagram.

The No. 41 player in the 247Composite is considering Indiana, Purdue, Virginia, North Carolina and Indiana State.

As a junior at Silver Creek, Kaufman averaged 25.8 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game and was named the Gatorade player of the year in Indiana.

Earlier this fall, Kaufman took visits to Virginia and North Carolina. In an in-depth interview with Inside the Hall last month, here’s what Kaufman had to say about the factors that would go into his decision.

“I think that the relationships with the coaches as well as the players,” Kaufman said. “Their ability to develop me, being an NBA player. How much playing time I would get. And how much they’re going to win. I think those four things are the big four.”

Indiana currently has one commitment in the class of 2021 in center Logan Duncomb, an AAU teammate of Kaufman’s.
