Brad Davidson has the ball on the right wing as King uses a Reuvers screen to try and shake loose from Jerome Hunter on the left wing:

Aleem Ford sets a ball screen for Davidson and rolls towards the paint. Hunter slides over to contain the back side of that action and loses contact with King, who is popping up top:

It’s a long closeout for Hunter as the ball rotates to King up top and Ford heads out to the right wing:

Hunter comes out in close out position with a high hand and one foot in front of the other. Instead of shooting, King heads left on Hunter:

He’s got space to rise up:

And get off a strong shot as Hunter has to lunge over to try and contest. It drops for two points:

These were the type of shots King was knocking down with regularity in the first half. Either ball faking or taking space around a close out to find a good shot in his comfort zone.
