Recruiting notebook: Final 2019 rankings released

The final rankings for the class of 2019 have now been released by 247Sports, and ESPN.

Both 247Sports and Rivals released their final 2019 rankings this week while ESPN’s release came in late April.

Indiana Mr. Basketball and Hoosier signee Trayce Jackson-Davis is a four-star prospect according to all three sites.

The Center Grove power forward is the No. 27 player according to ESPN, No. 27 according to 247Sports and No. 35 according to

Indiana All-Star and Cathedral guard Armaan Franklin is a four-star prospect according to 247Sports and the No. 128 player nationally.

ESPN also ranks Franklin as a four-star prospect and the No. 25 shooting guard in the country. Franklin is a three-star prospect according to and the No. 138 player in the 2019 class.

Ethan Morton sets decision date

Class of 2020 Butler Area (Pa.) guard Ethan Morton, a longtime Indiana recruiting target, is set to announce his college choice this week.

Morton, who plays for New York Renaissance on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit, will tweet his decision on Thursday, May 9 at 8:45 p.m. ET.

All four projections for Morton in the 247Sports Crystal Ball are for Purdue. Morton took an official visit to Bloomington last year.

Quinones finalizes announcement venue

Class of 2019 IMG Academy (Fla.) guard Lester Quinones, who is down to Memphis and Indiana, will announce his college decision on Friday, May 10 at 5 p.m. ET.

Quinones will announce at Susa Academy in Hauppage, New York. The announcement will be open to the public.

Memphis is the heavy favorite to land Quinones, according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball. The Tigers currently have 100 percent of the projections for Quinones in the Crystal Ball, including one from 247Sports national analyst Evan Daniels.

Indiana had its final face-to-face meeting last week with Quinones on Thursday, May 2 at IMG Academy on the final day of the open recruiting period this month.
