Film Session: Arkansas

Jones drives in off the right wing and isn’t able to get a shot up. So he jumps out of bounds and throws the pass to Isaiah Jones on the left wing:

But the pass is short and Jones can’t corral it:

The ball eventually ends up on the ground and McRoberts and Green get dirty to get a jump ball call, which goes in favor of IU:

On the other end, after both Phinisee and Morgan are fouled, Davis gets a shot up:

It misses and the ball is tipped out once again with Morgan in the mix, this time by Bailey:

And look who it is again, Phinisee tracking down the ball to retain possession for the Hoosiers:

Phinisee beats Desi Sills off the dribble and the Razorback defenders in the paint start to draw his attention:

Reggie Chaney fades back to Morgan, so Phinisee gets up in the air and passes to Davis instead:

He scores and is fouled to pull the Hoosiers within two, but missed the free throw at the line:

Phinisee’s knack for the ball on these tip-outs were big for the Hoosiers in both the first and second half.
