Film Session: Ohio State
Green sets a cross screen for Morgan to try and free him on the right high post. Kaleb Wesson hangs back in the paint off Smith, who is back in the game. Langford has the ball on the right wing:
Kaleb Wesson fronts Morgan as Young has an arm on him on the other side. There’s just no way Langford is going to be able to enter Morgan the ball with this double team. Meanwhile, Smith looks to set a screen for Green:
Green pops up to the top of the key on the screen as Morgan is now fronted by both Kaleb Wesson and Young:
With Smith open at the top of the key and having space from Kaleb Wesson in the paint, Langford opts to pass it to Smith:
Smith tries a drive left this time:
But he stops a bit under the basket and allows Kaleb Wesson to block his shot. Ohio State ball:
Another drive from Smith, this time to the other side of the basket, but again no points for IU’s sophomore.
