Matthews has the ball on the left wing as Brazdeikis veers over for a ball screen:
As Teske comes into the picture for another possible ball screen, Brazdeikis flanks out to the left wing and both Smith and Langford are looking his way. This means Morgan will have to switch and pick Matthews up:
Morgan gives him a few feet after he squares him up:
So he simply decides to take the space given and rise up and hit the 3-pointer:
By not playing him tight to ward off a possible drive, Morgan gave Matthews room to operate with the shot and he bested him here.
