Hartman passes the ball to Johnson on the right wing and then cuts through the paint:
Johnson dribbles up top and passes the ball to Newkirk on the right wing as Hartman begins to fill open space in the right corner:
As Hartman receives the ball, he’s cornered by two defenders. Freddie McSwain has an opening to the bucket:
Hartman fakes the pass to McSwain with the entire Iowa defense under the free throw line and facing the ball:
Hartman instead opts for the skip pass out to Johnson at the top of the key as Iowa’s defense begins to turn around:
Tyler Cook decides not to close out on Johnson but instead run to Green near the left corner. With Dailey still only at the free throw line as Johnson goes up for the shot, he has plenty of room to shoot and knock down this 3-pointer:
Savvy fake from the veteran Hartman to free Johnson for this score.
