Here’s yet another ball screen from McSwain on the right wing, this time for Green. Justin Smith has rotated through the paint to the right short corner, behind the back line of the zone:
Green dribbles in and finds the angle to lead Smith to the basket as Mason leans towards Al Durham Jr. in the right corner:
Smith catches with a big step as Murphy moves towards him:
He dunks it home strong for two:
While Indiana has often gotten the ball to Morgan in the middle to crack zone defense this season, this plays shows Green knifing in and finding teammates is an effective counter as well.
