Former Indiana forward OG Anunoby, the 23rd pick by the Toronto Raptors in Thursday’s NBA draft, was officially introduced to the media on Friday afternoon.

Always enjoyed his interview. It’s funny to hear only one or two words from him, after a long question. He’s still very humble but I felt his confidence grew significantly since last year. Probably not now, but Toronto will realize how great this decision was in next couple years.

For all the reasons well documented here about why we had to get rid of CTC, kudos to him as a recruiter and ability to send recruits to the NBA.

Only 4 big ten players drafted and we own half. Think about that a second. ONLY 4!! Heck Duke had 4 alone. If I’m not mistaken Crean will now have 7 guys playing in the NBA next year with JBJ sure to follow. Vic, Cody, Vonleh, Yogi, Troy, TB, and OG. I was crossing my fingers OG would go to OKC first or Dallas. Very close.

Enjoyed the interview. Nice to see OG smile. He seems to have a good plan for the future. I am now a Toronto fan. Wish OG a happy and especially healthy career in the NBA. Nice kid.
