Mitchell misses the lay-in on the break:
The ball finds its way to Jones:
Jones pushes the pace and takes an angle to the rim:
He’s cut off and attempts to jump pass the ball out, but he steps on the line for a turnover:
Johnson was open had he not stepped on the end line:
This sort of jump pass under the basket is move we’ve seen from IU players previously. It can be effective, but it’s risky — especially from a freshman like Jones.
