Zach McRoberts gets the steal and he passes it to Newkirk:

Newkirk speeds up the court. He’s got Johnson as a possible option on the right wing, and even though three Governors are around, neither is set in front of him:

Newkirk slices through and finds space between the three of them:

He’s able to use his quickness to get ahead of all of them and score:

This was a little risky by Newkirk, but it was in control and his superior quickness allowed him the space for the score.
