• Listening to them talk about Landon Turner’s versatility and ability to play four positions alongside Ray Tolbert sounds a lot like how TB is developing to play alongside DD. I know a lot of folks would like to see TB settle into a post player, but I still think there’s a ton of advantage if he can play outside as well as inside. Let DD play in the post, and let TB roam around and pull defenses all over the floor. Of course, with OG, that gives us another player who can play four positions.

Just dropped in to say the Cardinals are killing the LoserMakers. LOL.

Alex, Is RMK there or just a rumor?

  • Neither team looks all that great.

Are you kidding? Great coach. Lousy human being.

At the buzzer: THAT WAS FUN!

As much as I loved the ’76 and ’87 teams, I think the ’81 team is my favorite. They had a horrible (by IU standards) start yet just kept hammering away until they were just unbeatable when the tourney started. They blew out every team they played.

That was thoroughly enjoyable. I was in college with these guys and besides being great players, they were good guys too and that really comes out. Interesting point by the coach about how this team could have matched up against the ’76 unbeaten team.

Really enjoyed this. I wish Jimmy Thomas could have been there – IMO one of the most under appreciated players in IU basketball history. It’s definitely noteworthy how well this group gets along and articulates their experiences.

Only negative is, who is the dimwit that was moderating this? Overlooking Ray is inexcusable and embarrassing.
