Film Session: Nebraska
On the break, Johnson comes down the right wing with Bryant coming down the middle and Williams on the left wing. It looks like Nebraska only has two defenders back:
But White is actually near the right corner where Ferrell is camped out. With Ferrell drawing White’s attention, it leaves Williams open on the left wing and Johnson threads the pass through as McVeigh points for someone to pick him up:
Williams is again catching the ball with momentum towards the hoop and this time he’s got no one in front of him on the baseline. Watch out, Cornhuskers:
Hammond has come through the paint from the top of the key to try and ward off the Williams bucket. But Williams simply ducks around him and the hoop:
And puts it in for two:
