With Blackmon Jr. on the ball up top, Max Bielfeldt yells out “two” to his teammates. Here comes IU’s zone:
Nick Zeisloft and Blackmon Jr. assume the position up top in the zone:
Morehead State simply pulls a Duke: left wing, top of key, man in the middle:
But as Marrero calls for the ball down low, Ferrell breaks:
He gets the steal:
On the other end he brings it up the floor and passes to Zeisloft for an open 3-pointer:
He misses, but Max Bielfeldt is there for the rebound:
He kicks it back out to Zeisloft who passes over to Ferrell:
Ferrell hits the 3-pointer:
Indiana’s zone has given fans fits so far this season. But here’s an example of it leading to a turnover and bucket for the Hoosiers.
