Here’s Indiana in a zone a few minutes later. Jones passes to Ingram on the right wing:
The ball goes right back to him from Ingram:
Jefferson pops into the middle and Jones makes the pass there. Jefferson has both Allen and Ingram open on the wings:
He opts for Ingram on the right wing. Ferrell and Troy Williams are still in the paint by the time he’s got the ball in his hands:
It’s a simple rise and fire for another Ingram trey:
This was Indiana’s zone all night. Duke just had a ton of space with which to operate. Hit the middle, make a pass, score a bucket. It simply gave little resistance.
