Here’s where Blackmon Jr. really gets going. Maurice Watson Jr. tries a shot over Ferrell that doesn’t fall. Blackmon Jr. is on the weak side ready for the rebound:

Blackmon Jr.’s emotion at the end of it all is maybe the most hype he’s been in an IU uniform. These two buckets also highlight Blackmon Jr.’s evolution as a playmaker. He created his own shot in the first with some strong ball skills. The second highlights his growing aptitude for involving his teammates, as he had four assists on the evening.
