Film Session: Austin Peay

To start the second half, Austin Peay inbounds the ball. As Terrell Thompson brings it across the timeline, Davis cuts up from the right block to the right wing:
Johnson plays him tight on the perimeter and it allows him to cut back down to the right block with just a bit of space. As he does so, Thompson enters the ball to Horton on the right high post:
He threads a perfect pass to the cutting Davis:
Johnson is there pretty close, but Davis has enough of an advantage to score the bucket:
This appeared to be a nice play call from Dave Loos to start the second half. He exploited Indiana’s dedication to tight perimeter defense and his players executed well.
