For the second consecutive summer, Victor Oladipo will be participating in an event with USA Basketball.

Last summer, the Orlando Magic and former Indiana guard was a member of the USA Basketball select team that trained with the 2014 USA Basketball Men’s National Team in Las Vegas. Cody Zeller was also a part of that team.

This summer, Oladipo has again been invited to Vegas to participate in a minicamp that will run from Aug. 11-13, according to ESPN.com’s Marc Stein.

Chicago’s Jimmy Butler, Golden State’s Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes, Utah’s Trey Burke, Orlando’s Tobias Harris and Memphis’ Mike Conley have also been invited per the ESPN report.

These invites are in addition to the pool of 34 players in the mix for next summer’s Olympic team.

The three-day minicamp will feature practices on August 11 and 12 at the Mendenhall Center at UNLV and also the 2015 USA Basketball Showcase, an exhibition on August 13 at 10:30 p.m. ET between participating USA National Team members at the Thomas and Mack Center.

According to Stein’s report, the practices will be non-contact, but USA Basketball president Jerry Colangelo is making attendance mandatory for players who wish to stay eligible for selection for the national team that will compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

In his second NBA season with Orlando, Oladipo averaged 17.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.7 steals in 35.7 minutes per game.
