Film Session: Ohio State
Here’s another Indiana offensive possession with a dribble handoff on the right wing between Yogi Ferrell and Troy Williams:
The ball finds its way around the perimeter from Williams to Stanford Robinson to Nick Zeisloft. Williams cuts through the lane:
Zeisloft enters the pass into Williams:
This isn’t the best angle for Williams to attack the hoop and he’s got three Buckeye defenders on his side:
Williams goes for the hoop anyway and they converge. Both of Indiana’s 3-point shooter — Ferrell and Zeisloft — have bodies near. There will be no jump pass around the rim protecters to them here:
As two of OSU’s defenders go up, Williams has second thoughts about trying to go up on the left side of the hoop. As he tries going around to the other side, he’s whistled for a travel. Turnover Hoosiers:

Williams had a very freshman year game on Sunday with five turnovers. He didn’t make the best decision here and OSU locked him down at the cup.
