Johnson makes a move into the lane and draws Mosquera-Perea’s man as he lurks in the short corner:


Mosquera-Perea gets the pass and goes to the rim. Here comes Blackmon Jr. streaking in off the left wing:


Mosquera-Perea misses the shot on the other side of the rim as Blackmon Jr. is now in the middle of the lane:


Blackmon Jr. jumps up and gets a hand on the rebound, but he’s whistled for an over-the-back call:



While Indiana has shown success this season sneaking in from behind for rebounds, here’s a case where their aggression shows they aren’t always going to get away with it unscathed. Still, this is the kind of strong effort Indiana is bringing on the boards with a guard coming in off the wing to try and get a rebound.

    Troy can out jump a lot of players for out of position rebounds. One he learns to block out, he’ll get those, plus the out of position ones when he has to.
