With Ferrell now in the contest, Indiana still was standing around on offense. But with 14 seconds left on the shot clock, Austin Etherington comes up and sets a ball screen to try and get some action going:
Ferrell is stopped heading into the lane on the switch:
But as he often does, Ferrell keeps his dribble, comes back out and then heads for open space in the lane:
With the defense collapsed into the lane, Ferrell jump stops:
He finds a cutting Robinson:
Who lets the defense get behind him, shoots the lay-up … and misses:
Even with Ferrell making something out of nothing and getting his teammate an open look at the rim, the Hoosiers still couldn’t convert.
