Hollowell has the ball out on the left wing as Noah Vonleh screens for Evan Gordon in the paint:
Vonleh then seals AJ Hammons and looks for the ball:
Hollowell throws a bounce pass towards the baseline and Vonleh catches:
Vonleh faces up:
He moves to the paint and fakes up and back and gets Hammons in the air. This is a move Vonleh has busted out on occasion this season:
This allows him to spin left and attempt an uncontested lefty lay-in. But it misses:
With just over 10 minutes remaining and Indiana down 20 points, this was a simple bucket Indiana desperately needed but didn’t convert.
