II. Noah Vonleh comes up to set a ball screen for Yogi Ferrell, but Ferrell tries going the other way:
And is swarmed by three defenders. He has nowhere to go:
Lasan Kromah makes it hard for Ferrell to even make a pass back out to Vonleh well out past the 3-point line:
And he continues to make it hard for Gordon to even get Ferrell the ball later in the possession:
So with the shot clock ticking under 10, Gordon takes matters into his own hands:
As he’s met, he shovels off to Jeremy Hollowell:
Who’s able to rise above the smaller Napier for the bucket:
With the defense keying on Ferrell, this was another strong drive by Gordon which opened things up just enough for Hollowell to use his length to rise and fire for the score and give the Hoosiers the lead back.
