One of the top young frontcourt players in Indiana, class of 2016 Homestead forward Caleb Swanigan is attracting early interest from schools like Georgetown, Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State and Purdue.

We’ve compiled a minute and a half of high definition quality video of Swanigan from pool play games from this past weekend’s Hensley Memorial Run-N-Slam at the Spiece Fieldhouse in Fort Wayne in the embedded media player below:

He seems to use both hands pretty well.. and the fact that he is playing up two years with the talent that is on that Spiece team says a lot IMO. Seems like the type of body that IU always plays against with Minny and MSU and others where they are just such a load to handle you always want to see fouls called on our guys trying to box out, but these players just have a knack (and body) to clear a lot of space and get boards

  • Definitely a below the rim guy. Reminds me of a young Kennedy Meeks. You could slip a dollar bill below his Nike’s.

He’s a load..but also a project..would need to be a lot quicker and develop a face the basket game. Takes up a lot of space..he should be getting points under the rim. If MSU’s Nix can develop like he did..don’t know why this kid couldn’t.
