Hope that you have a full, speedy recovery. You are in my thoughts and prayer. Go Maurice, Go Hoosier!

God he looks sad.  I’ll be cheering for him the most on Saturday, he deserves it.

That is one tough man.  Hopefully he will be able to come back and stay healthy.  Praying for you Mo.

It’s just not right!  As a minister I’m going to start praying now that Mo eventually makes it back and comes back at full strength!  I pray that one day he ends up in the NBA after one of the greatest college career comebacks in college basketball history!

    Get well Mo!!!

Hang in there Mo!  We all feel your pain, and when you make it back will be grateful to feel your joy even more.

I love that Coach Crean is so unabashed when talking about his faith.  It makes me proud to have him representing our team and, ironically, the extremely secular university.  We have some great men of faith in the basketball program.  As much as I want us to start winning again, I’m proud that this program produces such quality men.

Amazing – he tore his Achilles with a misstep in his apartment when he happened to take a stair wrong. You just never know, sometimes it’s the common, everyday stuff that gets you. And then to think that he thought he had just a sprain – how defeating it must have been when he got the diagnosis. He will bounce back, I have no doubt. I have no idea if he can ever return to form but there sure isn’t any reason to wish for anything but. I second Aceman’s wish above – “ends up in the NBA after one of the greatest college career comebacks in college basketball history! Get well Mo!” Here, here.

We really have no choice but to give him this 12 plus month recovery and hope for the best. If he can get to 100%, realizing there is a lot of talent around him so he doesn’t have to put pressure on himself, we just added another stud to the already stellar 2012 class.

Depth is no longer an issue. These kids will have to battle it out for minutes and that is not a bad thing.

Good luck Mo. You are not hard to root for.

Having severed my achilles tendon I cannot be optimistic about him returning to play at a high level. Some have done it for awhile ( Gail Goodrich , Kalin Lucas ) but most have not. This is depressing now but I hope it is inspirational later for our program.

Man, makes me feel even worse to see him look so dejected…but how else would you feel to know that yet another season is taken away from you?

You can do it Mo! Stay tough and positive!
