A look at the final stats for IU basketball at the FISU America Games

IU basketball, representing the United States, won the FISU America Games gold medal on Monday with a 99-57 win against the Virgin Islands.

The Hoosiers finished the event with a 4-0 record and an average margin of victory of more than 60 points.

Junior Aiden Sherrell was named MVP of the FISU America Games.

Although the event did not keep official stats, basic player stats were provided by IU Athletics and all of the numbers are compiled below from the four-game run:

Aiden Sherrell

Game 1 vs. Peru: 19 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots. Sherrell shot 7-for-11 from the floor and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots.

Game 3 vs. Chile: 14 points and two rebounds.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocked shots.

Final Averages: Sherrell averaged 14.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.8 blocked shots. He shot 24-for-39 from the field (61.5 percent), 3-for-9 on 3-pointers (33.3 percent) and 7-for-12 from the free-throw line (58.3 percent).

Prince-Alexander Moody

Game 1 vs. Peru: 17 points, three rebounds and three assists. Moody shot 7-for-12 from the floor.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Moody shot 4-for-6 on 3-pointers.

Game 3 vs. Chile: Six points, eight assists, three steals.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: 12 points, four assists, two rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots.

Final Averages: Moody averaged 12.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.5 blocked shots. He shot 18-for-33 from the field (54.5 percent), 11-for-24 on 3-pointers (45.8 percent) and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line (100.0 percent).

Trevor Manhertz

Game 1 vs. Peru: 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Manhertz shot 3-for-5 on 3-pointers.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Two points, five rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.

Game 3 vs. Chile: Four points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: 15 points and three rebounds.

Final Averages: Manhertz averaged 8.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocked shots. He shot 11-for-17 from the field (64.7 percent), 6-for-12 on 3-pointers (50.0 percent) and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line (100.0 percent).

Jaeden Mustaf 

Game 1 vs. Peru: 11 points, six rebounds and one steal. Mustaf shot 5-for-6 from the floor.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Eight points and seven rebounds.

Game 3 vs. Chile: Nine points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a blocked shot.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: Nine rebounds, eight rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.

Final Averages: Mustaf averaged 9.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocked shots. He shot 14-for-24 from the field (58.3 percent) and 9-for-14 from the free-throw line (64.3 percent).

Vaughn Karvala

Game 1 vs. Peru: 13 points and seven rebounds.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 32 points, three steals, two rebounds and two assists. Karvala shot 11-for-14 from the field, including 7-for-10 on 3-pointers and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.

Game 3 vs. Chile: 16 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field to go along with two rebounds.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: Four points and two rebounds.

Final Averages: Karvala averaged 16.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocked shots. He shot 25-for-35 from the field (71.4 percent), 11-for-19 on 3-pointers (57.9 percent) and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line (80.0 percent).

Markus Burton

Game 1 vs. Peru: 10 points, six assists, four rebounds and one steal.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 11 points, two rebounds and one assist.

Game 3 vs. Chile: Four points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: Two points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Final Averages: Burton averaged 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals. He shot 11-for-25 from the field (44.0 percent), 1-for-6 on 3-pointers (16.6 percent) and 4-for-6 from the free-throw line (66.7 percent).

Trent Sisley

Game 1 vs. Peru: 11 points and six rebounds. Sisley shot 5-for-5 from the floor.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Eight points and five rebounds.

Game 3 vs. Chile: 13 points and five rebounds.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: Seven points and five rebounds.

Final Averages: Sisley averaged 9.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.3 blocked shots. He shot 17-for-22 from the field (77.3 percent) and 3-for-5 from the free-throw line (60.0 percent).

Bryce Lindsay

Game 1 vs. Peru: Six points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Nine points, six assists and five rebounds. Lindsay made three 3-pointers.

Game 3 vs. Chile: Seven points, three rebounds and two assists.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Final Averages: Lindsay averaged 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals. He shot 13-for-31 from the field (41.9 percent), 7-for-24 on 3-pointers (29.2 percent) and 6-for-6 from the free-throw line (100.0 percent).

Darren Harris

Game 1 vs. Peru: Two points, four steals and three rebounds.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Four points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Harris made one 3-pointer.

Game 3 vs. Chile: 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: 13 points, three rebounds and two assists.

Final Averages: Harris averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals. He shot 12-for-30 from the field (40.0 percent), 7-for-22 on 3-pointers (31.8 percent) and 3-for-6 from the free-throw line (50.0 percent).

Sam Alexis

Game 1 vs. Peru: Did not play

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots. Alexis shot 7-for-8 from the field.

Game 3 vs. Chile: 14 points and three rebounds. Alexis shot 6-for-8 from the floor.

Game 4 vs Virgin Islands: 10 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots.

Final Averages: Alexis averaged 13.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 blocked shots. He shot 18-for-22 from the field (81.8 percent) and 3-for-8 from the free-throw line (37.5 percent).
