BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Hoosier Men’s and Women’s Basketball fans and Halloween enthusiasts are invited to enter (if you dare!) Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall later this month for the return of the fan-favorite Haunted Hall of Hoops, presented by Smithville.

This festive, family-friendly, and free basketball and Halloween celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 7-8:30 p.m., at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The IU Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams will host the event, which will be packed with Halloween-themed excitement and IU Basketball fun.

Attendees should plan to enter through the arena’s south lobby beginning at 7 p.m. The concourses will be transformed into a Halloween extravaganza, featuring interactive games, exciting prizes, giveaways, treats, and a photo station to capture your Halloween memories. Fans will also be able to interact directly with members of both Coach Darian DeVries’ and Coach Teri Moren’s programs, grab autographs, and take photos with their favorite players.

This year’s event will also feature a Costume Parade, where children and other spirited fans can showcase their Halloween outfits. Following the parade, judges will crown the winner of the Best Costume Contest.

Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Families, students, and fans are encouraged to arrive early in costume to make the most of a special event that is once again on the IU Basketball calendar.
