Jared Jeffries to be inducted into IU Athletics Hall of Fame

IU Athletics announced its 2026 Hall of Fame class on Thursday morning and it includes former IU basketball All-American Jared Jeffries.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana University Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson announced today that IU Athletics will welcome six new members to its Athletics Hall of Fame. The six individuals comprise the 41st class, bringing the roster of inductees to 267.

Terry Cole (Football, 1965-67), Jared Jeffries (Men’s Basketball, 2001-02), Irina Kharun (Women’s Track and Field, 2001-03; Women’s Tennis, 2001), Bev Ramser (Women’s Tennis, 1979-82), Kyle Schwarber (Baseball, 2012-14), and Ken Snow (Men’s Soccer, 1987-90) will be officially inducted at the annual Hall of Fame dinner on Nov. 13, and will be recognized at halftime of the Indiana-USC football game at Memorial Stadium the following day.

“We are thrilled to welcome these six remarkable individuals and congratulate them and their families on this prestigious honor,” Dolson said. “What makes this particular group so extraordinary is that beyond their immense individual accomplishments, every single member of this class played an integral role in winning championships—whether that was capturing national team titles or Big Ten team crowns. That legacy of team success is something that we are extremely proud of at Indiana University.”

The IU Athletics Hall of Fame, established in 1982 by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in conjunction with the Varsity Club and the I-Association, recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the prestige of IU both on and off the field of competition.
