Player stats, upcoming schedule for IU basketball at the FISU America Games

IU basketball, representing the United States, is 2-0 in the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru.

The Hoosiers won Group B and advanced to the semifinals on Saturday afternoon.

On Tuesday, IU crushed Peru 115-36 and on Thursday, it easily defeated the Virgin Islands, 120-63.

Here’s the upcoming schedule for the FISU America Games:

Saturday, July 25 – Semifinals

Game 1: Argentina vs. Virgin Islands – 1 p.m. ET
Game 2: United States vs. Chile – 3 p.m. ET

Monday, July 27 – Third place game and Finals

Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2 – 2 p.m. ET
Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 2 – 4 p.m. ET

While detailed individual stats are not available via FISU, IU Athletics has provided basic player stats through the first two games, which we have compiled below:

Aiden Sherrell

Game 1 vs. Peru: 19 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots. Sherrell shot 7-for-11 from the floor and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots.

Current Averages: Sherrell is averaging 17 points, 9.5 rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots through two games.

Prince-Alexander Moody

Game 1 vs. Peru: 17 points, three rebounds and three assists. Moody shot 7-for-12 from the floor.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Moody shot 4-for-6 on 3-pointers.

Current Averages: Moody is averaging 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Trevor Manhertz

Game 1 vs. Peru: 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Manhertz shot 3-for-5 on 3-pointers.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Two points, five rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.

Current Averages: Manhertz is averaging 6.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, three assists and 1.5 steals.

Jaeden Mustaf 

Game 1 vs. Peru: 11 points, six rebounds and one steal. Mustaf shot 5-for-6 from the floor.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Eight points and seven rebounds.

Current Averages: Mustaf is averaging 9.5 points and 6.5 rebounds.

Vaughn Karvala

Game 1 vs. Peru: 13 points and seven rebounds.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 32 points, three steals, two rebounds and two assists. Karvala shot 11-for-14 from the field, including 7-for-10 on 3-pointers and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.

Current Averages: Karvala is averaging 22.5 points and 4.5 rebounds.

Markus Burton

Game 1 vs. Peru: 10 points, six assists, four rebounds and one steal.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 11 points, two rebounds and one assist.

Current Averages:  Burton is averaging 10.5 points, 3.5 assists and three rebounds.

Trent Sisley

Game 1 vs. Peru: 11 points and six rebounds. Sisley shot 5-for-5 from the floor.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Eight points and five rebounds.

Current Averages: Sisley is averaging 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.

Bryce Lindsay

Game 1 vs. Peru: Six points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Nine points, six assists and five rebounds. Lindsay made three 3-pointers.

Current Averages: Lindsay is averaging 7.5 points, five assists and 3.5 rebounds.

Darren Harris

Game 1 vs. Peru: Two points, four steals and three rebounds.

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: Four points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Harris made one 3-pointer.

Current Averages: Harris is averaging three points, three rebounds, three steals and an assist.

Sam Alexis

Game 2 vs. Virgin Islands: 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots. Alexis shot 7-for-8 from the field.
