Toronto exercises team option on former IU All-American Trayce Jackson-Davis for 2026-27 season

Toronto has exercised its team option for the 2026-27 season on former IU All-American Trayce Jackson.

Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported the news of Toronto’s decision to pick up its team option on Jackson-Davis for next season.

The 6-foot-9 Jackson-Davis, the No. 57 pick in the 2023 NBA draft, was traded from Golden State to Toronto during the 2025-26 season.

He appeared in 17 games last season following his acquisition by the Raptors and averaged 1.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in five minutes per game.

Over his three-year NBA career, Jackson-Davis has appeared in 183 games with 54 starts. He has career averages of 6.2 points and 4.4 rebounds and has a career field goal percentage of 63.1.

Jackson-Davis will turn 27 in February. According to Spotrac, the team option for Jackson-Davis for the 2026-27 season is for $2.4 million.

In his senior season at Indiana, the 2022-23 campaign, Jackson-Davis was a consensus first-team All-American and won the Karl Malone award as the nation’s top power forward.

He made 32 starts in his final season as a Hoosier, averaging 20.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, four assists and 2.9 blocked shots per game.

Jackson-Davis was named All-Big Ten first team, All-Big Ten defensive team and earned Big Ten player of the week honors five times.

The Center Grove product is the program’s third-leading scorer all-time with 2,258 points and he logged 50 career double-doubles for the Hoosiers, which ranks third all-time.

He is the program’s leading career rebounder with 1,143 and blocked shots with 270.
