IU basketball announces the signing of class of 2026 forward Trevor Manhertz

Indiana announced today that it has signed class of 2026 forward Trevor Manhertz, who committed to the Hoosiers in late January.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Four-star forward Trevor Manhertz has signed his letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Indiana University under head men’s basketball coach Darian DeVries, the program announced on Wednesday.

Posted 18.8 points, fourth most in the EYBL Scholastic League, as a senior at Christ School for head coach Erasto Hatchett … made a league-best 3.8 3-pointers per game and shot 42.0% from distant, the seventh-best mark among qualified shooters … shot 34-of-81 from behind the arc in nine EYBL Scholastic League games … shot 5-of-10 from 3-point range against Spire Academy (Dec. 14) … knocked down 8-of-12 attempts from 3-point range and scored 30 points against Iowa United (Jan. 19) … shot 5-of-11 from the arc against The St. James (Feb. 13) … made 6-of-13 from 3-point range and scored 34 points against La Lumiere (Feb. 14) … played for Garner Road on the Adidas 3SSB circuit and averaged 15 points on nearly 50% shooting from the 3-point line … scored 31 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the 3-point line at the 3SSB Earn Your Stripes Invitational … added a 38-point game in the circuit on 11-of-16 shooting … averaged 13.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 steals per games as a junior at Green Level High … All-Conference and All-District selection … advanced to the Elite Eight of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4A playoffs … son of Joe and Alexis Manhertz … father, Joe, played college basketball for Colgate and currently is the Senior Associate AD for Development at VCU … mother, Alexis, played volleyball collegiately for Georgia Southern and is currently works for Duke University.
