Kansas State transfer defensive end Chiddi Obiazor commits to IU football
Kansas State transfer defensive end Chiddi Obiazor has committed to IU football, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
A 6-foot-6, 275-pound native of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Obiazor has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
He earned All-Big 12 honorable mention honors last season in Manhattan as he amassed 28 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss, two sacks and a fumble recovery.
Obiazor totaled 19 quarterback hurries and 30 total pressures as a sophomore.
As a freshman in the 2024 season, Obiazor earned honorable mention Big 12 defensive freshman of the year from the league’s coaches and was also named academic All-Big 12.
Oziabor is the eighth transfer portal commitment for the Hoosiers since Sunday afternoon.
