By the numbers: How every IU basketball player fared in Puerto Rico

IU basketball wrapped up a 3-0 exhibition tour to Puerto Rico on Monday afternoon.

The Hoosiers beat Universidad de Bayamón on August 6, Mega Superbet 93-71 on August 9 and Mega Superbet 81-80 on August 11.

Here’s a statistical look at how each IU scholarship player performed over the three games:

Jasai Miles

The 6-foot-6 guard from Miami, Florida, averaged three points, four rebounds, one assist and one turnover in 14.9 minutes per game.

Miles shot 25 percent from the field, 50 percent on 2s, 12.5 percent on 3s and 40 percent from the free throw line.

Reed Bailey

Bailey, a 6-foot-10 transfer from Davidson, averaged eight points, 6.7 rebounds, two steals, 1.7 assists and one turnover in 20.9 minutes per game.

He shot 52.2 percent from the field (all 2-point field goal attempts) and missed his only free throw attempt.

Lamar Wilkerson

A prized pickup for the Hoosiers in the transfer portal from Sam Houston, Wilkerson averaged a team-high 15.7 points, 3.7 assists, 2.7 rebounds, one steal and one turnover in 25.4 minutes per game.

The Arkansas native shot 37.5 percent from the field, 55.6 percent on 2s, 32.3 percent on 3s and 70 percent from the free throw line. Wilkerson attempted 31 3-pointers over three games.

Sam Alexis 

A national champion last season at Florida, the 6-foot-9 Alexis was a standout on the trip for the Hoosiers. He averaged 12.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 turnovers and one assist in 21.4 minutes per game.

The Apopka, Florida, native shot 53.6 percent from the field, 62.5 percent on 2s and 66.7 percent from the free throw line. Alexis missed all four of his 3-point attempts.

Conor Enright

Enright battled foul trouble in two of the games which limited him to 16.3 minutes per game. He averaged 3.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists while committing just one turnover.

The 6-foot-1 guard shot 22.2 percent from the field, 33.3 percent on 2s, 16.7 percent on 3s and made all six of his free throw attempts.

Tayton Conerway

Last season’s Sun Belt Player of the Year, Conerway averaged 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, three turnovers and 2.3 steals in 22 minutes per game.

He shot 60 percent from the field, 64.3 percent on 2s, 50 percent on 3s (six attempts) and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. His 14 trips to the line were the second most on the team.

Josh Harris

The 6-foot-8 sophomore appeared in two games on the trip and averaged 6.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and a turnover in 8.6 minutes per game.

A transfer from North Florida, Harris shot 64.3 percent from the field (all 2-point field goal attempts) and went 1-for-2 from the free throw line.

Trent Sisley

The 6-foot-8 freshman from Santa Claus, Indiana, averaged 11.3 points, three rebounds and 1.7 assists in 22.1 minutes per game.

Sisley shot 58.3 percent from the field, 57.1 percent on 2s, 60 percent on 3s (10 attempts) and didn’t attempt a free throw.

Tucker DeVries

The two-time MVC player of the year averaged 10.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two turnovers in 27.7 minutes per game.

DeVries shot 28.6 percent from the field, 40 percent on 2s, 22.2 percent on 3s (18 attempts) and 80 percent from the free throw line (15 attempts).

Aleksa Ristic

The 6-foot-4 freshman from Serbia averaged 4.3 points, three assists, 2.7 rebounds, two turnovers and a steal in 17.5 minutes per game.

Ristic shot 46.2 percent from the field, 55.6 percent on 2s, 25 percent on 3s and missed his only free throw attempt.
