IU basketball offers class of 2027 guard Nasir Anderson
Class of 2027 guard Nasir Anderson is the latest prospect to receive a scholarship offer from the IU basketball staff.
Anderson, a 6-foot-2 point guard in the rising junior class, reported the offer on his X (formerly Twitter) account early Monday morning.
He’s ranked as the No. 40 player nationally in the 2027 class according to 247Sports and the No. 9 point guard nationally. Anderson plays at Norcross High School in Georgia and for Game Elite on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
Since June 15, Anderson has added offers from USC, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, South Florida, Louisville, Virginia, Mississippi State, Maryland, Florida, Kansas, IU, LSU and Cal, per his X account.
According to USA Basketball, Anderson “helped the 2025 USA Men’s U16 National Team win gold at the 2025 FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup in Juarez, Mexico. Averaged 12.3 points and a competition-high 6.8 assists and 3.5 steals over six games – setting the U.S. all-time record for total assists in the competition (41) – en route to being named MVP and a member of the All-Star Five at the event.”
He is a native of Savannah, Georgia.
