Report: Jalen Haralson cancels two official visits, eyeing decision in near future
Class of 2025 La Lumiere five-star guard Jalen Haralson appears to be hitting his recruitment’s home stretch.
The long-time Indiana recruiting target has canceled a pair of official visits, according to Eric Bossi of 247Sports.
Haralson had been scheduled to visit Kansas and Missouri, but those trips were canceled. The 6-foot-6 prospect has completed official visits to Indiana, Notre Dame and Michigan State this fall.
He still has an official visit to Purdue scheduled for this coming weekend. Haralson previously visited Auburn last fall.
Last March, Haralson narrowed his list of schools to Auburn, Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, Purdue, Indiana, Michigan State, Missouri and Notre Dame.
Indiana offered Haralson a scholarship in January of 2022.
Haralson played his first two seasons of high school basketball at Fishers before transferring to La Lumiere before his junior season. He’s rated the No. 13 prospect nationally in the latest 247Composite rankings.
The La Lumiere guard is one of several highly touted prospects Indiana is chasing in the class of 2025.
The Hoosiers hosted five-star point guard Mikel Brown Jr. for an official visit over the weekend and will have Braylon Mullins, Eric Reibe and Trent Sisley on campus next weekend.
Indiana is also recruiting five-star wing Nate Ament and five-star forward Bryson Tiller, who was on campus last winter for the Kansas game.
The Hoosiers are still looking for their first commitment in the 2025 class.
