Report: Indiana to travel to Purdue on January 31, host Boilermakers on February 23
Dates for the 2024-25 Big Ten basketball schedule continue to trickle out.
On Friday, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reported the dates for the rivalry games between Indiana and Purdue. According to Rothstein, the Hoosiers will travel to West Lafayette on Friday, January 31, to meet the Boilermakers.
Purdue will then play Indiana at Assembly Hall on Sunday, February 23.
These are the fourth and fifth Big Ten games Rothstein has reported for Indiana next season. Indiana will host Minnesota on December 9, travel to Nebraska on Friday, December 13 and play Penn State at the Palestra on Sunday, January 5.
Purdue swept the regular season series against Indiana last season.
The Boilermakers finished last season 34-5 and lost to UConn in the national championship game. The Hoosiers trail the all-time series against Purdue, 127-92.
Purdue is currently ranked No. 16 in Bart Torvik’s 2024-25 preseason projections.
