Former Indiana guard Eric Gordon has agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to a report published Sunday evening.

NBA insider Shams Charania broke the news of Gordon’s intent to ink a deal with Philadelphia, a top Eastern Conference contender.

Gordon, 35, recently declined his $3.4 million player option with Phoenix to become a free agent.

Over 886 career NBA games, Gordon holds averages of 15.7 points, 2.8 assists and 2.3 rebounds. He’s a career 37.1 percent 3-point shooter and 81.1 percent free throw shooter.

The Indianapolis North Central product has earned more than $179 million in his NBA career and has played for the Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans, Houston and Phoenix.

Last season, Gordon averaged 11 points, two assists and 1.8 rebounds last season for the Suns and shot 37.8 percent on 3s in 68 games.

NBA teams began negotiating with free agents on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET. Teams can begin signing free agents to contracts at 12:01 p.m. ET on July 6.
