Class of 2024 five-star guard Boogie Fland tells 247Sports he’s focused on three schools
Class of 2024 Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.) guard Boogie Fland is focused on three schools, according to a recent interview with Dushawn London of 247Sports.
The 6-foot-3 guard, who took an official visit to Indiana in June, told London he’s focused on the Hoosiers, Alabama and Kentucky.
Fland is the No. 20 player in the country, according to the 247Composite.
Indiana and Alabama traveled to Fland’s high school on Wednesday to attend his practice.
Fland has already taken senior year official visits to Alabama and Kentucky but has not taken a senior year official visit to Bloomington.
He was recently named one of 85 participants who will participate in a USA Basketball Junior National Team minicamp from Oct. 6-8 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
With Fland’s declaration that he’s focused on those three schools, Michigan, UNC, Maryland, UConn and St. John’s are no longer in the mix to win his recruitment.
Indiana is still seeking its first commitment in the 2024 recruiting class and is focused on Fland, Liam McNeeley and Derik Queen.
McNeeley is down to Indiana and Kansas, while Queen is considering Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, LSU and Houston.
