Class of 2026 Saline (Mich.) point guard Jonathan Sanderson was on Indiana’s campus for an unofficial visit on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-2 Sanderson already has a long list of interest and scholarship offers as he prepares for his sophomore season.

He is the son of Jon Sanderson, the head strength and conditioning coach for the University of Michigan men’s basketball team as well as the U-M men’s and women’s golf programs since 2009.

On the visit, Sanderson met with Clif Marshall, Mike Woodson, took a tour of campus and also got an opportunity to learn more about Indiana’s style of play.

Sanderson holds scholarship offers from Detroit, Duquesne, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Marshall, Michigan and Ohio.

As a freshman at Saline High School, Sanderson was a second-team Associated Press all-state selection in Michigan.

He averaged 19.3 points, six rebounds, four assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Sanderson plays for Midwest Basketball Club on the adidas circuit.
