Class of 2024 five-star forward Liam McNeeley to take official visit to IU in September
One of Indiana’s top recruiting targets in the class of 2024 has set a date for an official visit to Bloomington.
Liam McNeeley, who took a junior year official visit to Indiana last fall, will be back on campus September 8-10, Inside the Hall has confirmed. The news was first reported Tuesday by Jeff Rabjohns of Peegs.com.
The 6-foot-7 forward is considering six schools: Alabama, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas.
McNeeley, who is originally from Texas, plays at Montverde Academy (Fla.), which also produced Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau.
Three of his Montverde teammates – Derik Queen, Asa Newell and Curtis Givens III – also have IU scholarship offers. Both Queen and Newell were tracked diligently by the IU coaching staff during the first two July evaluation periods.
McNeeley is currently ranked the No. 7 player nationally by the 247Composite.
