Class of 2023 five-star forward Mackenzie Mgbako sets decision date for Friday

Class of 2023 Roselle Catholic (N.J.) will announce his college choice on Friday, according to Andrew Slater.

The 6-foot-8 forward will choose between Indiana and Kansas.

Mgbako previously signed a National Letter of Intent with Duke before requesting his release in early April.

He recently completed official visits to St. John’s, Kansas and Indiana before narrowing his choices to the Jayhawks and Hoosiers.

Mgbako is ranked the No. 8 player nationally in the 247Composite, No. 15 by On3, No. 9 by ESPN.com and No. 8 by Rivals.com.

Indiana currently has two open scholarships for next season.
