Former IU coach Bob Knight admitted to hospital on Friday
Former Indiana men’s basketball coach Bob Knight was admitted to the hospital on Friday according to a letter sent to former players on Sunday evening.
The letter asked for prayers for the 82-year-old Knight.
According to the letter, Knight is recovering and his family hopes he will be home soon.
According to Mike Woodson, the Hall of Fame coach attended practices regularly in Bloomington this past season.
Knight made his first public appearance at Indiana for a game in more than 20 years in February of 2020 for the Purdue game.
Letter went out tonight to former #iubb players to pray for Bob Knight, the former Indiana coach.
