Indiana to conduct Zoom meeting with Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick on Wednesday
Indiana will conduct a Zoom meeting with Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick on Wednesday, Inside the Hall has confirmed.
Tyler Tachman of The Indianapolis Star was the first to report the news on Tuesday.
Shedrick, a 6-foot-11, 231 pound center, entered the transfer portal on Monday.
The Holly Springs, North Carolina native played three seasons for the Cavaliers and averaged six points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 17.6 minutes per game.
Shedrick considered Indiana as a high school recruit before committing to Tony Bennett and Virginia. Archie Miller was the IU coach at the time of Shedrick’s recruitment out of high school.
He started 15 of Virginia’s 30 games this past season and had 17 points against Baylor on November 17, 2022.

Indiana has been active in the transfer portal this week as the coaching staff begins to build its roster for the 2023-24 season.
The Hoosiers completed visits with Towson transfer Nick Timberlake and Harvard transfer Chris Ledlum on Sunday and hosted Ball State transfer Payton Sparks for an unofficial visit on Monday.
Indiana also scheduled an in-home visit with Minnesota transfer Jamison Battle on Tuesday.
