Indiana scheduled for in-home visit with Minnesota transfer Jamison Battle on Tuesday

Indiana is scheduled for an in-home visit on Tuesday with Minnesota transfer Jamison Battle, Inside the Hall has learned.

Battle, a 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward, is a grad transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.

He played his first two seasons at George Washington before transferring to Minnesota for the last two seasons.

Over 103 career games, Battle has averaged 14.4 pints, 5.2 rebounds and one assist in 36 minutes per game.

Battle is a native of Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

This will be the third in-home visit for the IU staff in recent days. Indiana visited Towson transfer Nick Timberlake and Harvard transfer Chris Ledlum on Sunday.

On Monday, Indiana hosted Ball State transfer Payton Sparks for an unofficial visit in Bloomington.

A dead period for recruiting begins on Thursday, March 30 and lasts through noon ET on Thursday, April 6.

During the dead period, it is not permissible to make in-person recruiting contacts or evaluations on or off the member institution’s campus or to permit official or unofficial visits by prospective student-athletes to the institution’s campus.
