The Indiana women’s basketball team earned a No. 1 seed in the 2023 NCAA tournament and will play on Saturday in Assembly Hall against Tennessee Tech or Monmouth.

The Hoosiers were the No. 2 overall seed in Sunday’s bracket reveal and will host the opening two rounds of the NCAA tournament in Bloomington.

If Indiana advances past Saturday’s game, it would play the winner of Oklahoma State and Miami (FL) on Monday in Bloomington. Regional games for the Hoosiers would be played in Greenville, South Carolina. The women’s Final Four is in Dallas, Texas.

Tip times for this weekend’s opening-round games have not yet been determined.

Indiana is 27-3 overall and won the outright regular season Big Ten championship. It was the first Big Ten title for Indiana women’s basketball since 1983.

The Hoosiers are 8-8 all-time in the NCAA tournament and Teri Moren is 7-4 in March Madness.

Tickets for the NCAA tournament are available through the IU ticket office.
