Here’s another play where the rescreen tripped up Indiana. While Jackson-Davis stunts and recovers the first time around, Dickinson’s rescreen for Brooks has Jackson-Davis switching onto Brooks to contain the drive. As Galloway recovers back to Brooks, he soon realizes Jackson-Davis isn’t moving back to Dickinson. So he looks to locate Dickinson on a switch.
But Galloway thinks Dickinson will be rolling to the lane and can’t find him. That’s because Dickinson has instead popped to the top of the key. He receives the pass from Brooks and drills the 3-pointer with plenty of space.
