On the next Red Storm possession, Indiana’s defense fails to contain a high ball screen. Phinisee gets around the screen too late. Thompson’s switch doesn’t cut off the drive. And Jackson-Davis’ help from behind does little to stop the Posh Alexander score. It’s possible Phinisee getting beat on back-to-back possessions here was the reason Mike Woodson opted for Khristian Lander when Johnson went out with a fourth foul later in the half.
